One of the core activities of ATS is the relocation of machinery, equipment, process lines, and manufacturing cells.

We also offer the implementation of projects for machine installations (various extraction/ventilation systems, electrical systems, IT systems, coolant and water systems, and compressed air systems) according to the customer’s needs and requirements.

Hybrid relocations

Solutions used for hybrid maintenance also work well for relocations. ATS has developed and patented solutions to increase the availability of workers for machine and equipment relocation.
With the staff availability issues in mind, we have prepared a ready-made solution to optimise the use of all technical and personnel resources available.

Minimising downtime is based on thorough technical analysis, precise scheduling and team experience – our specialists have a minimum of 20 years of hands-on experience with machines and production lines.

ATS takes responsibility for the entire process – from analysis and planning, through dismantling, loading and transport, to reassembly, installation connections and production commissioning. The client has a single partner accountable for the whole project.

The hybrid relocation model involves close collaboration with the client’s own team – ATS provides expertise and resources where they are needed most. The model is patented by ATS and generates savings of up to 30% of the contract value.

LMR is a strategy developed by ATS to address four critical relocation challenges: shortage of expert commissioning staff, downtime caused by assembly errors, missed deadlines, and lack of specialist equipment. It covers comprehensive relocation, post-relocation technical support and hybrid maintenance.

Lack of technical analysis, underestimating timelines, absence of a project plan and insufficient coordination. Most problems arise before the relocation begins – which is why ATS starts every project with a detailed technical assessment.

In many cases it is possible to reduce downtime to a minimum through a phased approach to relocation. Eliminating downtime entirely is not always feasible, but proper planning can significantly reduce its impact on production.
